Trip to Dauphin, MB in 2000

Along Highway #2, approaching the turnoff to Dana, SK. During the Cold War, Dana was the site of a Pinetree Line radar station. Pinetree Line stations stretched across southern Canada, ready to sound the alert in the event of an attack by Soviet nuclear missiles.
