Trip to Dauphin, MB in 2000

St. Peter's Cathedral, Muenster, SK. The interior of the building contains paintings by Count Bertold Von Imhoff, a German born artist. Imhoff painted the faces of monks living at the monastery onto the portraits of the saints. Imhoff settled in St. Walburg in west central Saskatchewan, and many of his paintings can be found throughout that area. St. Peter's Cathedral is a Provincial Historic Site. I took several photos of the interior during a family trip to the area previously (see St. Peter's Cathedral album).
