DIY Pannier from Briefcase

Detail of bungee cord: by passing the bungee cord through holes from the inside of the back compartment, the briefcase stays securely against the rack. The bungee is tied with as little slack as possible, to help prevent the briefcase from bouncing off the rack on bumps. I used brass grommets to keep the fabric from unravelling at the holes.
