Tour de Somewhere Out West 1999

Osprey nest at ferry dock, Kootenay Bay, BC. We saw ospreys and nests throughout the trip. From Needles to Nakusp, there were dozens of nests on hydro poles next to the road. At Ainsworth Hot Springs, ospreys made nests on the old pilings used by the sternwheelers that once plied Kootenay Lake.
