The Texas Campfire Tapes (import), Michelle Shocked. Recorded live on a portable tape machine at Quiet Valley Ranch, Kerrville among the rolling hills of West Texas. Soft folk and cajun, often accompanied by crickets and campfire sounds (really!). Michelle Shocked has a gift for words and a unique turn of phrase. |

Arkansas Traveller (import), Michelle Shocked. The CD starts off soft and mellow, but the second half brings in exciting blends of cajun and bluegrass. This is one fun collection of music! |
