| The Texas Campfire Tapes (import), Michelle Shocked. Recorded live on a portable tape machine at Quiet Valley Ranch, Kerrville among the rolling hills of West Texas. Soft folk and cajun, often accompanied by crickets and campfire sounds (really!). Michelle Shocked has a gift for words and a unique turn of phrase. | |
| Arkansas Traveller (import), Michelle Shocked. The CD starts off soft and mellow, but the second half brings in exciting blends of cajun and bluegrass. This is one fun collection of music! | |

| Chalk Mark In A Rainstorm, Joni Mitchell. | |
| Night Ride Home, Joni Mitchell. The music is great, but it's also nice to hear references to our home town in this recording. | |

| Acadie, Daniel Lanois. As a producer, Daniel Lanois has been the unheard talent behind many top artists. We particularly enjoy the depth of the music on Acadie. | |

| Back On The Bayou, Queen Ida, Al Rapone. Zydeco music is a great way to top off a day of cycling, and nobody does Zydeco better than Queen Ida. | |

Hush, Jane Siberry. This is a real departure from Siberry's usual genre of music. Hush is a collection of traditional songs, arranged and adapted by Jane Siberry. Quiet, introspective music, perfect for an evening under the stars. We also liked the speckless sky, but try to find it anywhere.... |
