Winfield to Vernon (33 km / 21 mi) Our ride follows the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake, and meanders through gentle hillsides. This is BC's fruit growing region, full of orchards and vineyards bursting with ripening fruit. Dairy farms dot the landscape, and hay and alfalfa fields show patchwork patterns in adjacent valleys.
