Day 4, Wednesday and
Day 5, Thursday

After short ferry ride across the Arrow Lakes at Needles, we head north along the shores of the Arrow Lakes to Nakusp. This cozy town sits nestled in a curve of Upper Arrow Lake, between the Selkirks and the Monashees. Hot springs are all around this area!

We'll spend a day (Thursday) in the area around Nakusp. The Galena Trail offers a pleasant ride along the former route of the Canadian Pacific Railway from Nakusp to Three Forks, in the valley above New Denver. Hikes in the area, such as Idaho Peak overlooking New Denver, provide stunning views of the Slocan valley.
