Today's journey takes us over the Highwood Pass into Longview, home of Canadian country music legend Ian Tyson. Longview, once known as "Little New York", and other towns in the area were made famous by the wealth of early oil and gas exploration. Today, the area is a popular location for shooting television and motion picture "westerns".
